My other life
I must agree that I am receiving an education in 80’s music and look forward to Brent’s selections and to add some new music to my ipod.
I was definitely around in the 80’s but spent most of my time away from work running, swimming and biking, yes I was one of those triathlon enthusiasts. I moved away from that and crossed a couple of marathons off my list as well so while Brent was sweating away in the dance clubs I was sweating away on the asphalt.
My other life is working on my most challenging job.... being a father with three kids which is the most fun as well as the most stressful challenge ever but as I “cut up” on our show I can assure you that I am a Cosby type father. If I could only get my wife to laugh at my antics more!
I am an avid reader and burn through several books a month, from military history to spy thrillers. I would say my most active hobby is going to the gym because I am a fitness fanatic but I am also a certified SCUBA diver and try to go at least once a year. My last dive was in September where I headed to Pensacola to dive the USS Oriskany, an aircraft carrier that was sunk “purposely” 20miles off the coast. It will become the world’s largest artificial reef and is known for the carrier Senator John McCain flew off of before he crashed and became a POW in Vietnam. I have also been on shark, dolphin, reef and wreck dives. So, now you know a little more about me and it may explain some of my bizarre behavior and verbal outburst on the show!
