Hi my name is Terry and I'm in the process of building a website, and was wondering if you could accommodate my needs. 
I need 3 VA's (Virtual assistants) to take phone calls and sales. The sales will pertain to ads and ad space on the site. I will need 3 VA's for a 24 hour service Dept. to my site for various tasks, I will be using two other VA services to find the best that will suit my needs, I will hire the best out of three. I second the notion that Elance is a great place to find qualified providers that truly know their stuff. In fact, Elance is the largest online marketplace for online talent. I have used Elance as a provider and a buyer and my experience as been extremely positive. 
 
I do have a few pearls of wisdom for buyers- 
 
-Check providers feedback before selecting a proposal and interview them through the private message board. 
-Require samples and review them. 
- Be clear about what you're looking for, your budget and your desires before you place your request for a proposal. 
-Shortlist the really great candidates and consider hiring more than one on a trial basis so that you can further evaluate their talents. 
- Use the Elance escrow system and set milestones for payments. 
-Be fair. Understand that you have to pay for quality but don't break your budget. 
-Enjoy yourself - there is a wealth of talent out there wanting to work for you.
