Rieva LesonskySmall businesses have the most to gain from using online marketing.  These tools and services are easy to use and don't break the marketing budget....that is if you actually have a marketing budget.  But even today many small businesses have been slow to warm up to online marketing tools.  Which is pretty ironic as many surveys show most entrepreneurs and small business people view the web as one of the most important lead generation tools in their arsenal.  Many small businesses have tried some form of online marketing but haven't found much success.  Some may be a little to narrow in their definition of online marketing, thinking that an occasional email blast would be enough to bring in the bucks.
